Club Rentals
Looking for a unique venue for your next corporate team-building event, birthday party, or family gathering? The Cumberland Curling Club offers excellent ice and lounge rentals.
We offer two distinct rental blocks tailored to fit your event size and schedule:
Option 1: The Afternoon Block
Perfect for birthday parties, family gatherings, or quick corporate outings.

Time Slot: 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm (Strict 3-hour block)

Standard Rate: $400

Club Member Rate: $350 ($50 discount)

Note: Due to ice scheduling, there is no possibility of time extensions for this block.
Option 2: The Evening Block
Ideal for larger events, company parties, or competitive functions that require extra time to socialize.

Time Slot: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Base 6-hour block)

Standard Rate: $700

Club Member Rate: $550 ($150 discount)

Need more time? Extra hours can be added for $125 per hour up to a maximum cutoff of midnight.

What is Included in Your Rental

Full access to our two sheets of curling ice.

Use of club equipment, including brooms, sliders, and grippers.

Access to our comfortable viewing lounge and service by our volunteer batenders. While our canteen does offer light snacks (chips and chocolate bars), you are welcome to bring or order your own food. We recommend Cheezi pizza right up the street! Outside alcohol is strictly forbidden.
- Introduction to our Club and basic instruction from one of our volunteers (required for new groups or inexperienced curlers)
Important Guest Requirements
To protect our ice and keep everyone safe, please ensure all your guests are aware of the following:
- All curlers must sign a waiver of liability: This can be done upon arrival at the rental. For youth, please ensure a parent or guardian is on site to sign.

Clean Footwear is Mandatory: All guests stepping onto the ice must bring a pair of clean, indoor running shoes carried to the club in a gear bag. Outdoor shoes carry dirt, salt, and grit which ruin the curling ice.

Dress in Layers: The rink area is chilly! We recommend wearing loose, warm layers and bringing a clean pair of gloves.

Helmets: While not mandatory for adults, wearing a CSA-approved helmet (like a hockey or winter sports helmet) is highly recommended to protect against unexpected falls.
